As a long time Trails fan, the Daybreak games have been a mixed bag so far. I don’t think the core cast of characters has nearly the depth of any other arc, nor do they get as much individual treatment. I miss the bonding events of the CS games, less so for the romance reasons, and more so for the depth they added to the characters. On the positive, the character designs are amazing, Trails has never been as visually appealing, and there’s always plenty of really good OSTs, no matter what Falcom game it is.
